1. Sham Valley Trek

This trek is among the easy, but very beautiful and fascinating hikes from Ladakh. The walk takes you through the monasteries of Tibet and the apricot gardens of the area. This trek, also known as the baby trek, is a 30km flat trek without any high climbs. It begins in Likir and passes in Temisgam.


2. Chadar – The Frozen River Trek

Too many walks in Ladakh and in different parts of the country requiring one to walk along a snowy path or on rugged terrain, but Chadar Trek is the clearest one to walk down the Zanskar River – frozen, of course.


The tour is world-famous and is also featured in travel magazines and documentaries. It is also considered one of India's most difficult treks since the weather is severe. At night, the temperature falls to less than 25 to 30 degrees Celsius.



3. Markha Valley Trek

A walk through the Markha Valley also known as a Tea house walk offers a magnificent view of both Stok Kangri and the peaks of Kang Yissay. Markha lies near Leh and that's why the first step of the walk-in Leh is an acclimation for 1 or 2 days. 4. Ripchar Valley Trek

Richard Valley is a fascinating trek that gives an excellent panorama of the two parallel ranges, especially Zanskar and Karakoram. The trek begins from the Hinju Camping and afterward passes through the Prinkiti La, Lanak, Sumda Valley with Sumdo Chenmo and then passes Sumda Chu through Dungduchun La.

6. Snow Leopard Trek

The Snow Leopard Trek, as the name suggests, has become one of the popular treks in Ladakh to watch the snow leopards in the area. This journey takes the rider to end the Indus through the Rumbak Valley and Hemis National Forestry.

7. Kharnak Trek
